The Smartpass Amplifier’s all-in-one design allows easier connection, delivers correct balance between short and long range reception. It must be powered in order to function. Push the smart switch On or Off and select the switching with which more channels are received.

Quite a light antenna with a sleek design. The amplifier is easy to hook up and is connected with the coaxial cable. There is a switch and an indicator light on the amplifier that shows when it is turned on (green) and off (red). That might sound obvious but I’m thankful for the indicator light as it’s quite dark behind my TV in the bedroom as it is inside a cabinet. It took me a short while to find an optimal position for my antenna. It picked up one extra channel with 7 sub-channels better as my previous antenna. I’m glad the antenna has a long power cord and coaxial cable which made the set up easy. The signal strength improved overall, got less pixilation and my new antenna looks better than my previous.

I bought this to replace a Leaf that I had used for about a year. The Leaf worked pretty well but I could never find a position for it that would pick up all available channels – and re-positioning a Leaf every time you turn the channel is a pain. I saw this and thought I’d give it a try mainly because I figured it would be easier to move around to pick up different channels.
Set up is simple and after about 20 minutes of adjusting it’s position I was able to pick up every available channel crystal clear.
I’ve had it for a couple weeks now and I haven’t had to move or adjust it at all.
Very impressed.
