I live in the city and the tower is about 10 miles away, it was placed in my indoor window facing the direction of the tower, I didn’t turn on the amplifier because the signal was too strong, at first there were 45 stations, then I adjusted its angle and position and got 5 more channels. Also found that it fluctuates a bit during the day and night in terms of channels received, but the difference is not much, I guess it has some variables like weather, temperature, etc. This makes things interesting and is an amazing antenna, let’s see how it changes after 1 month.

Antenna works fine as long as the wind is not blowing or there is no storm in the area. Once this happens, the picture begins to pixilate. This will also happen on perfectly clear days when it is breezy outside or the wind is blowing. We live only 15-20 miles from the broadcast antennas. Just can’t figure out why this happens???

I received this HDTV antenna over the weekend. It is truely awesome. I have it hooked up to a TV in my basement that I never was able to get a decent signal. Sometimes the picture came in and sometimes lost.

It was easy to get it up, and the results are better than expected. I purchased it so I can watch local channels without having to pay for cable. The picture comes in very clear. I have only been using for two weeks. I purchased two of these antenna and find that there are modest differences in the channels received from each antenna. Also, it appears that you need to reset the channels every few days to maintain or improve the quality of reception that you receive. I am in the Oakland area and pick up between four and six stations I occasionally enjoy.

Recently received this antenna. It was very easy to connect. I was able to receive 33 channels with very good quality. I kept the antenna behind the tv so nothing extra was visible. The quality or number of channels didn’t change. It came with sticker & cup in case you want to change the place where you keep the antenna. Now I am able to watch these channels for free. Great buy!

TV sets manufactured before 2007 are not digital TV sets. All broadcasts are now in digital signals. The required TV tuner is the ATSC tuner. If a TV set is not built with an ATSC tuner digital signals can be converted to analog signals and watched on the TV by using a digital to analog converter box.
The Antop AT-125B will work with the ATSC tuner, and with the DTA converter box.

At first I hung it on my window but I could not get ABC so I then took it down and just laid it on my tv table and now I get every station,all are HD channels! This thing works good. It does a much better job than the higher-priced antenna we used. It delivers awesome quality picture. I suggest that keep playing with the position until you find the right spot if you are having trouble receiving the channels or they are fuzzy. An inch or two can make a big difference.All in all,highly recommended.

I live in NJ 08859, and in a lower level apartment with lots of trees. i took the cable company deal to cut the cord and get this free antenna. I was skeptical but i figured if I got at least 10 channels I would be happy.
1.installing- took 5 minutes which included opening the box
2.Scanning took about 10 mins I have an old Sony Bravia tv
3. location – on the window
4. channels found/receiving 57
5.Picture Quality-EXcellent , Excellent, Excellent ,same as cable
6. Size- about the same as a mouse pad (if any one remembers what that is)
7.Cable it comes with is a good quality and decent length

I did not move antenna around as I am happy to get the channels that I have, 10 of those channels are spanish and 2 korean and 1 chinese.

Purchased this OTA HD antenna after considerable shopping and reviewing. The key points for us are: the paper-thin and reversible antenna; and, the ability to use/not use the in-line amplifier. While the surface is paintable, we have the antenna mounted with the white side facing inward, and high on an outside wall in our home office (Command Central in our home). It is paired with a Tablo DVR system that now enables us to receive and record the crystal clear and free over the air local channels, many of them in HD.
Be prepared to experiment for a while to find the best antenna location. In addition, test the set-up both with and without the amplifier. In some cases, the amplifier may actually degrade reception/the number of channels you can see. In our case, finally leaving the amplifier out has worked for the current location. We always have the amplifier if we find it is needed. Be patient at this step, especially if your TV signals are coming from a distance/from drastically different directions as they do where we live.
The customer service folks at ANTOP are great too, as we had to consult with them via email to resolve some reception/possible amplifier issues. They were responsive, helpful, and readily suggested trying a new amplifier when the original one seemed like it may have been defective. Within just a few days, there was the replacement amplifier in the mail. Great service and great folks!
This Mohu Leaf 50 model is great when you are trying to pull in signals that are at some distance. My thought was to purchase the Leaf 50 versus the more limited Leaf 30, rather than the opposite and then being disappointed or having problems. It is a good idea to consult one or more of the websites that can give you a reading of likely reception of stations in your area based upon your service address. Obviously, the higher you mount an OTA antenna, the better the potential for strong signal reception. That often means either an attic or outside antenna, and there are many fine models. Prices and features do vary quite a bit, so do spend some time looking around before plunking your money down, about $50 in our case.
As part of a greater cost and cable cutting project, this ANTOP Paper Thin is the right piece, at the right price for us, and their customer service definitely will back up what they sell.

I am about 35 miles from the major tv towers and have been operating with cheap rabbit ears for the last several years. After seeing this at a friends house, I decided to replace a broken set of directional rabbit ears. It was a great decision. I stuck the antenna to a window next to the tv. You can’t even see it from inside. The window is on the back side of my house, but even then it doesn’t look too bad.
Performance has been very good. We still have some signal interruption when Mother Nature expresses herself, but I think location has some to do with that as my house faces the direction of the towers and this antenna is on the 1st floor backside window.
The amplified version has allowed me to pull in a couple other channel that are fun to watch.

Unbelievable reception and so easy to install! AT&T U-verse and my local NBC affiliate are fighting – and a result, they removed NBC from the U-verse lineup, leaving paying customers in the lurch! A month without NBC passed, when a new friend gave me a ANTOP AT-125B to try. I am thrilled to report that I can once again watch all my favorite shows on NBC, along with 27 other channels, using this antenna – all with little to no effort! You can aim this product. Very useful.I love the thin film antennas but the problem with most of them is they are so flimsy that you can’t put them on a table so they can be directed. This thin antenna comes with a table stand for better directability ;
