Introduction
The Antop UFO PL-414BG, an omni-directional TV antenna, designed as house TV antenna and RV TV antenna with High Gain reception, amplified range of 65 miles from broadcast origination source! Assuring you more channel reception and less blind spots. Its UV coating and weather resistant finish and creative UFO design, allow you to install your PL-414BG antenna in various locations around the exterior of your home: wall, roof, balcony. It is also suitable for RV and mobile home use. The PL-414BG supports HDTV, 1080P TV and 4K ULTRA HD and is compatible with TV converter boxes or digital TVs.
Antop’s New Generation Digital Technology
1) The Smartpass Amplifier’s all-in-one design allows easier connection, delivers correct balance between short and long range reception. It must be powered in order to function. Push the smart switch On or Off and select the switching with which more channels are received.

– Re-scan the channels after each switching of the Switch.
– Scan channels monthly to find all available channels including newly added or changed.
– Do not place or hide the antenna in/behind any metallic objects.
– Install the antenna as high as possible and near a window for better reception.
– Keep the antenna away from any high power consumption devices to avoid interference.

Installed it in 1/2 hr. All equipment (except the co-ax cable) was in the box. Once I connected it…BOOM! Lots of new channels and even HD ones that look great! Looks like I bought a quality antenna to replace the cheapo rotating Chinese junky one.

This did work for me but 65 mile? Na more like 60 mile. Picture is great and so easy to install. Would have given 5 star but this is no 65 mile antenna.

The antenna materials seem a little lightweight for a outdoor antenna. However, very good picture quality. I’ll have to wait and see how it holds up in the next thunderstorm. So far so good.

So far, so good, but we’ll see how it lasts through the summer. Previous old-school giant antenna with amplifier only picked up 3 stations. This one picks up 15 channels! Originally wanted for my RV, but I used it at home instead.

Installed in our attic and am now able to receive OTA HD TV stations from our local stations (10 mile distance) as well as from our next closest city (45-50 miles). Transmitters in both these cities are at different headings, so the omni-directional capabilities actually work (unlike the Mohu Sky 60 that I tried). Easy to set up. Works as advertised!

I purchased this, but I was sceptical cause of the price. But it works great. I get channels I never got before. I hardly ever get a signal for more than 2 channels in my room. Now I get 25 channels! This is definitely worth the money!
